Elisabeth and her family were wonderful hosts. The chalets are lovely and well located, just minutes from the gondola.

The apartments felt comfortable and homelike, and they’re near the Kronplatz/Altabadia Skiarea. A kind, friendly family takes good care of you.

We stayed in the Odles chalet, a real little gem. There are five chalets along with the main one, and the whole place has the peace we badly needed after life in a busy city like Rome. It’s charming and timeless, with every detail taken care of. Everything was wonderful, highly recommended.

We thought the price was on the high side for what you get, and a few things bothered us. The electronic heating was convenient, but the bathroom radiator stayed cold until we asked the owner to fix it. We paid €15 for a basket of firewood that was meant to last two fires, though some pieces were damp and half the basket gave us little heat. The three-seater sofa in front of the TV couldn’t be taken off, so evenings were cramped and uncomfortable for the two of us when we wanted to lie down. The lodge itself was modern but cozy and lovingly furnished, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a fireplace. Each lodge has a built-in sauna that worked perfectly at about 80-85 degrees Celsius. There’s daily bread roll delivery, and the dark rolls were fresh and delicious. Dogs are welcome. The five beautifully designed lodges sit around the owners’ house in a quiet spot, about a five-minute walk from the center of St. Martin in Thurns, along a path that starts above the house.
