B&B Paola e Francesco

The breakfast is generous, varied, and nicely simple, and parking is handy too. The stay feels warm and familiar, with everything kept tidy and clean and a relaxing atmosphere that shows care in the details. Francesco is attentive, very friendly, and available whenever needed. From the start, his sincere welcome made us feel at home. The value for money is excellent. Thanks for such a thoughtful, low-key welcome, Francesco. I'd be happy to come back.

The owner was kind and helpful, and having a kettle with tea and herbal teas in the room was a lovely touch. We stayed for one night in a double room, with plenty of space in both the room and bathroom, and everything was spotless. For our needs, the B&B's location worked very well, less than a 10-minute drive from Pavia's main hospitals. We'll definitely return.

The arrangement with the Maugeri Institute is useful for people coming from outside Pavia, and it's a very nice place. Finding the entrance could be easier, though. There's a large sign but no arrow, and the optician's sign underneath makes it unclear where to go. There isn't a sign around the building pointing out the entrance either, only a doorbell with very small writing.

It already feels like home, and I've booked again for other dates when I'll be back with my family. The host is genuinely kind and helpful. We were delighted with the plentiful breakfast, which had something for everyone, and everything was impeccably comfortable and clean. We couldn't have chosen better.
