B&B Grande Salento

I really enjoyed my stay and would come back or recommend it. The B&B is new and welcoming, with heating, air conditioning and a TV. Even the single room has a double bed, a balcony and mosquito nets. It’s a good choice for a quiet stay, just steps from the center and close to plenty of services and points of interest.

I was happy with my three-night stay. The hosts are friendly and helpful, and the family-run B&B felt clean and welcoming. The rooms are adequate, newly built and seem to have been renovated recently. It’s especially convenient if you’re traveling by car: the beautiful beaches are about 20 minutes away, while central Puglia’s nightlife and attractions take a 40- to 60-minute drive.

I have photos and videos of everything I’m describing, and I’d like to know why there are only positive reviews. The bathroom was dirty, there was no towel rack, and the soaps and shower gels had already been used by previous guests. The rooms were dirty too, some doors had no handles, and the private parking that was supposed to be there didn’t exist. To use one remote control, we had to take the batteries out of another one, which was covered in tape. And there was more. This doesn’t deserve even one star, and I can’t call it a B&B.

I come back every year, for sure. It’s a family-run B&B with very clean rooms and really helpful staff.
