My room had no private bathroom, and breakfast was pretty basic. Still, it was a very comfortable room in a Renaissance-era building.

Monica was kind and honest when sorting out a small issue with Booking, and communication with her was excellent. The place was clean, welcoming, and right in the center. I'd rate the location four stars only because parking is difficult.

The room was spacious, with a little terrace and a stunning view. The bathroom was shared, though having the toilet and sink in the room was very convenient. There's no TV, but the coffee table and working Wi-Fi suited me well while I worked during the trip. Roadwork currently makes the place inaccessible by car, but the host replied quickly to my booking request and gave clear directions to free parking. Excellent for a short stay, and the off-season price is fair. The location in San Miniato city center is excellent.

I just needed somewhere to sleep for the night, and this guesthouse did the job. The room was tidy and had the basics. The shared shower was the one real downside, and it gave my friends plenty of material for jokes!

The terrace was lovely, and the room was clean. We got a great welcome, too. Fairly priced and a good option for dog owners.
