Villa Crawford is spacious and quiet enough that we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Andrea was the most hospitable host we’ve ever had and really went out of his way to make sure we were happy. The views are spectacular, and the location is great too. Our most beautiful stay in all of Calabria. We can’t recommend it enough.

We’ve just come back from a holiday in San Nicola Arcella, where we stayed at Villa Crawford. I picked it after reading glowing reviews. The gulf view really was breathtaking, but everything else was disappointing: the building felt dated and was hardly clean, and even the linens smelled anything but fresh. Breakfast was decent, though not really enough for what we paid. The road outside is also very steep and not particularly accessible for everyone, something that isn’t disclosed. 😏

The view is exceptional, and the location is excellent. Our room was clean and just right, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. A well-earned five stars. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to live a dream.

We had an incredible view from the room, at an enchanting spot just steps from the beach, about a 10-minute walk. Breakfast was top-notch, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I hope I can return soon!
