We felt right at home in the clean, well-equipped apartment, with comfy beds, two bathrooms, and a full-size kitchen. The host gave us useful tips for food and laundry, too. Even though we booked very late, she still found a place for us and kindly offered a ride when the rain was pouring. Thanks, Giulia, you were so nice :)

A nice place with what you need while walking the Via Degli Dei. We had coffee and crackers, though breakfast wasn’t provided. I missed having a host around to welcome us or answer questions. The owner only came by to collect payment, knocking on our door. There was nowhere inside the room to hang clothes or a wet towel; when I asked, someone showed me an outdoor spot, but an indoor option would’ve helped. The photos seem to show their newer second location. We’d booked for “me and my boyfriend,” and the owner asked whether we wanted a double bed. We waited about 10 minutes for a reply, but we were in the forest and didn’t get it in time, so we ended up with separate beds.

Giulia coordinated with the previous hotel and its team to get my luggage over to her place. It all happened in the background like magic, and I didn’t need to do a thing. Everything was just what I needed, and we got along fine even though English is the language I speak best.

I had to cancel the trip because of illness, just three days before check-in. The host was suuuper kind and refunded all our money without any trouble. I’d recommend the host!
