B&B "La Pieve" - Locanda per Viandanti

Monica and Franco made our family feel so welcome while we were hiking the Degli Dei. The whole house was beautiful, clean, and really comfortable. They even arranged breakfast extra early because we wanted to set off before the sun got hot. It was delicious, and hearing their stories and how much they love their land was inspiring. We’ve now finished the hike all the way to Florence and are flying home. We hope we can come back one day ❤️

We found la Pieve along the Via degli dei, and it was well worth staying there. Our room was spacious and clean, with a little yard right outside where we could relax. The hosts were amazing. They didn’t speak English, but we still managed to communicate really well. Breakfast had a nice selection, including bread, yoghurt, and homemade cakes. I’d highly recommend it!

A great room and a comfy bed, and the aircon was very welcome. The B&B is in a perfect spot on the Via degli Dei. There’s an outdoor sink and washing line, plus a laundrette down the road if you’d rather use that; detergent is included in the cycle. The owners and their family were so friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was delicious, and I liked being able to have it packed to go or get a packed lunch made. We ordered a beer when we arrived and enjoyed it outside our room in the garden. Would highly recommend.

After nearly 100 km of trekking, the owners’ wonderful hospitality was just what we needed to finish the journey. Our room for three was spacious and cosy, with a door dividing it into two areas for privacy and a lovely view of the church opposite. It was clean and had air conditioning. The shared bathroom felt like part of a luxury suite, and was spacious and spotless. The garden was a lovely place to unwind in the evening, and the owners sold cold beers at a very reasonable price. Breakfast was amazing, with homemade apple cake and other treats ready right on time. Thank you for such a pleasant stay. I hope to come back soon!
