After walking the Via degli Dei, we appreciated the thoughtful touches in the room, including bottled water in the mini-bar, biscuits, and other little things that made us feel welcome. The hotel may not be new, but the service was excellent and so was breakfast.

Breakfast is a good spread, with excellent cakes or a continental option of cold cuts and cheeses. There’s parking right in front of the hotel, and the place is well run, with nice attention to the comforts that make a stay easier. The owners and managers are kind, helpful, and always smiling.

Though the rooms feel dated, they’re spotless and the beds are very comfortable. We had a refrigerator in the room, plus sweets, juice, and cookies waiting when we arrived. The service was good and really friendly.

We spent two nights here. The hotel has a bit of an 1980s feel, but it was clean and welcoming, and the owner was very friendly and ready to help with any problems. There was air conditioning and a refrigerator in the room. The fridge was a little noisy, though nothing major. Breakfast was good; I’d have liked a few more local, homemade options and fewer industrial ones, but overall it was good.
