Breakfast wasn't a hit for us. It started at 8:30, which felt late, and was mostly cakes with mediocre coffee. As Italians, that's not the kind of breakfast we usually have, so we went elsewhere after the first morning. The room itself was charming but too dim. We also think the lack of a TV should be mentioned clearly, and there wasn't one in the shared room either. The explanation about sound carrying through the walls wasn't given to us. The steep stairs to the accommodation floor were the biggest problem. They weren't mentioned online, and they were difficult with our luggage, especially as we're older and nobody was there to help. The website was poorly put together and left out details guests need, including that there's no garden despite the listing suggesting one. The owners didn't introduce themselves or greet us, which felt unfriendly for a B&B marketed around charm and hospitality. The building is quaint and rustic, more so than the website makes clear. Bagno Vignoni has more comfortable places to stay and some excellent restaurants with genuine Tuscan hospitality.

Breakfast was a highlight, with lots of different things to choose from just across the square. We stayed in this rustic B&B inside a 13th-century building, in the peaceful, pretty town of Bagno Vignoni. By evening, locals and visitors had gathered to enjoy an orchestra. It was a great experience.

A nice, cozy spot for getting away from Tuscany's busy cities, and handy if you enjoy natural hot springs. You can sip some wine and take in the quiet. The rooms are dark, which I can imagine helps in this heat, though it might feel gloomy in winter. The bathroom needs work, especially the shower, which doesn't drain properly.

We had two very restful nights and would love to come back when we're nearby. The little B&B is right in Bagno Vignoni, so we could enjoy the village before and after the tour groups arrived. Everyone running the place was warm and helpful, with ideas for things to see and places to go. Breakfast was impressive. I went straight for all the cakes, and I also saw plenty of people having eggs and other savory food.

Bagno Vignoni is such a special place, and Locanda del Loggiato made a lovely base for it. The hosts were fantastic, the rooms were nice, and the food around town was great. It was my first getaway after lockdown, and I really enjoyed it. I'll definitely return.
