8/10
The garden is lovely, with chickens wandering around, and there’s handy indoor parking. I booked the large room with a balcony for a quiet night, and the living area was spacious with a tidy bathroom. I’m more used to a high king-size bed, but I slept well here. It’s an informal place, easy to get to from Bra, and staying in Alba also makes it convenient to drive around the wineries. The reason for one less star was that the car charger tripped the meter and wouldn’t work.

Breakfast was good, and there’s a big courtyard with convenient parking. It’s on the outskirts of Alba in a quiet area. My issue was the first-floor room, which felt modest and didn’t offer much privacy. I could clearly hear conversations from neighboring rooms, and the streetlight outside the window meant I had to keep the shutters closed. For what was offered, the price didn’t feel right.

With turkeys, chickens, cats, and a dog around, it has a real country feel, even though it’s right by Alba’s city center. The rooms were clean, the Wi-Fi was excellent, and breakfast was great. Highly recommended! 👍

Marisa deserves a special mention for her fruit and vegetable juices, and breakfast overall was plentiful and nicely prepared. Our dog was welcome, too. We found the room clean and stocked with all the little comforts we could need. The location worked well for seeing the Langhe and for a short walk into Alba’s center. I’m giving five stars because it matched what the B&B page described.

Breakfast was delicious and clearly made with care, and the hostess was wonderful. The room was spotless, with lovely decor and attention to detail. I’d happily stay here again.
