The rooms were poor quality, with lots of scratches on the walls, and the cleanliness was below par. Although the cleaning crew came every day, there were huge spider webs from the first day. One room had a shower problem that needed attention. The maintenance man was already in the room when we arrived, but he never fixed it. In the other room, a fault meant the lights worked without the card. After the cleaner left the balcony door open, we came back at night to a room full of bugs and insects, including crickets. When we reported it, we were quickly told they couldn’t move us to another room. One day there was a big party on the hotel grounds. We were told it would finish by midnight, but it carried on past 1 a.m. When we raised all these problems, the response was “card or cash,” and nobody apologized once.

The listing presents this as a hotel with a swimming pool, but the pool is open to anyone who pays for a ticket. It ended up completely crowded with people from outside. We booked a room for four that looked nice in the pictures, but they tried to give us a double room instead. We had to complain twice before getting the room we’d booked. The air conditioning also wasn’t powerful enough to cool it.

The restaurant was enjoyable, and the pool was an amazing experience. The massage pool made the hotel better than it otherwise would have been. It was clean and had a great balcony, but the location isn’t great for walking around town. Our air conditioner didn’t work, and the room never got below 29 Celsius.

Don’t trust the pictures. At best, it’s a three star hotel.

The bathroom had been renovated and was well equipped, but the two beds in my room were only 80 cm wide and uncomfortable. The hotel is in the middle of an industrial park, with little to do besides having a drink on its terrace. Two full teams of young baseball players arrived just as we were about to order food, so the restaurant and hotel were understandably quite chaotic. One friend found the room noisy and asked to move. They gave him a quiet room on the other side of the hotel. Since the hotel already knew the kids were coming, as we were told in the restaurant, I don’t understand why we weren’t given those rooms.
