We enjoyed cooking in the apartment, since the kitchen had everything we needed, and there’s a very good pizza place within walking distance. The village is small, pretty, and cozy, with a great fruit and vegetable shop that also serves delicious breakfasts, plus a little beach. The apartment has spectacular views. Switzerland is about an hour’s drive away, and there’s a nice mountain hike from Acquazeria to the goat cheese farm.
We had a great four-day stay. The lake is just 50m away, and the balcony is a lovely spot for sunset drinks once the heat eases, with a fantastic view over the water. The apartment had a good-sized room, two bathrooms, a washing machine, and a kitchen with all the essentials. The summer price was reasonable, and having garage parking included was handy. The only small drawback was that the Wi-Fi was unstable at times. Highly recommend it.
Acquaseria is quieter and smaller than mennagio, and the view is incredible.

The apartments are lovely, and the setting by Lake Como is peaceful. You’ve got what you need for either a short visit or a longer stay, and can explore the lake from here or even spend a day in Milan.
