My favorite place to stay in Como.

What a beautiful house!

We spent a wonderfully relaxing week here with our big family, including 12 adults and two toddlers. There’s a ground-floor room you can request for anyone who has trouble with stairs, such as an older guest. The toddlers had cribs and high chairs, plus little forks and plates for meals. The staff were thoughtful throughout and quick to help with any small need or problem. Housekeeping comes daily, and the air conditioning works very well. One unit stopped working during our stay, but they called a repair person straight away and it was fixed the next day. Breakfast each morning was amazing. We had dinners at the villa for the full week, which we paid for separately, and breakfast was included. You choose your dinner menu when you arrive. The dinners and desserts were very good, too. The concierge can arrange things like massages, lake tours and restaurant bookings, and help with anything else you need. The pool is lovely and clean, with towels replaced daily. There are walking paths, a garden and a nice tennis court. One thing to plan for: without a car, a taxi to the nearest town costs about €25 each way. Still, you could spend the whole week here without a car. A few restaurants and a pharmacy are an easy walk away, as is a Bank ATM. I highly recommend the villa, and it would be a perfect spot for a destination wedding.

The grounds are magnificent, and the villa itself is superb, with views over Lake Como.
