The air conditioning was awful, either freezing cold or nothing at all, so you have to choose what kind of night to have. They know about the problem but don't have a real fix. Everything else was great for the price compared with other places in town: the breakfast was nice, the roof terrace was good in the evening, the service was amazing, the staff were lovely, and the rooms were super clean in a fantastic location. I feel bad that I can't recommend the place because of the AC. If you're okay with that, there's little more you could improve for the price.

The only small drawback is that ground-floor rooms open directly onto the street, so people walking past can see onto the balcony and privacy is limited. Otherwise, this is a nice three-star hotel that matches what it advertises.

We got a room even though we arrived before the official check-in time, which was a big help after a long travel day. The staff also offered breakfast before the usual service began. Everyone was efficient and friendly, and the hotel was impeccably clean with a fresh, welcoming feel. We highly recommend it for a comfortable stay in San Teodoro.

The terrace was a lovely extra, with a nice view and a handy place to hang bikinis and sea towels. Hotel Stella Marina is also well located for enjoying San Teodoro without a car or exploring the beaches around Capo Coda Cavallo. Breakfast was really good, and the staff were all so welcoming and kind. A perfect stay.
