Hotel Le Mimose

We enjoyed our time at the hotel, which makes what happened afterward all the more disappointing. I’d lost my passport and wasn’t sure I could make the trip, so the hotel kindly gave us a voucher. My partner stayed the whole week, while I could join only for the last four days. Since one of us stayed for a shorter time, there was about £400 of the voucher left. At checkout, the receptionist and manager both confirmed the remaining amount was around £400 and assured us we’d get an updated voucher for it. When I followed up later, the hotel refused to issue it and has effectively kept the money. Being promised that balance and then having the hotel go back on its word feels dishonest and unfair. We feel very let down.

We really enjoyed the dinners and breakfasts, and the staff were very, very friendly, always ready to help in any situation. The hotel is 1,6 km from La Cinta beach and 1,3 km from the city center, and you can walk to both.

We spent 10 great days at Le Mimose. The shuttle to the beach was well organized, and there was always someone at reception ready to help with our questions. The staff were very nice, the rooms were clean, and breakfast was good. My one suggestion would be to add parasols by the pool. 😊

At first I wasn’t sure this would be a nice stay, but I was fooled. Behind the walls there’s a lovely little resort style hotel. We got the 2 bdrm villa across the street, which worked great, and the service was excellent. There’s a bar by the pool, and breakfast is buffet style, with the option to sit outside. The free shuttle takes you to the beach, where chairs and an umbrella are included. It’s a nice setting, with town just a short walk away if you want to go in. We’ll be back, thanks.
