Resort Janna e Sole Resort

We had a lovely stay in this part of Sardinia, with coaches available to nearby towns and markets. The pools were great, there were plenty of sunbeds, and the beach was close by. You can walk to a quiet stretch or take the train to a busier area. There was lots of entertainment through the day, and we even joined the animation staff for a walk up the nearest mountain. Food had a good range and plenty of choice. Families like ours should enjoy it, and adults have a large separate pool area away from the main pool buzz.

There’s loads to do around the resort, and they can arrange trips and the things you need for a memorable break. The bars usually stay open until midnight, and the pools for both kids and adults are great. Our room was also very comfortable, especially the amazing king size bed, and the bathroom was clean with a good shower. Room service regularly checked whether we needed fresh bedding, towels, or anything else. The food was the best part for me: breakfast, lunch, or dinner, it was always fresh and tasty. Best resort in Sardinia.

The beach and location were lovely, and Sardinia itself is beautiful, but this hotel left us with a bad experience despite having so much potential. Check-in was a struggle, and we had to chase them to get into our room. There was rubbish around it when we arrived. Excursion options were limited, and the TUI welcome felt warm but impersonal, with too many people packed in for a presentation. Some bar staff were rude and unhelpful, which let the rest of the team down. The food was inconsistent and not what I’d expect from a four star hotel.

The food was cold, and after guests complained, microwaves were put in the restaurant so people could warm it up themselves. The rooms felt dated and unsafe. I’ve never encountered staff this bad anywhere I’ve travelled.
