The owner was very sweet, and out front there was a table, chairs, and a BBQ, which was a nice touch. Still, the accommodation was more basic than I expected, and the shower was the smallest I've ever used. The back “garden” was unfinished, and mosquitoes were bad enough that I rarely sat outside. We had no maid service at all during the week. Perhaps our organizers hadn't given us enough information. We were staying for an organized event, with the accommodation chosen by the organizers. I was surprised by how far it was from the venues, at least a 15 or 20 minute walk each way, four times a day. It also seemed a long walk from the town centre when we finally found it. I'd definitely recommend hiring a car, as taxis are hard to find, and this place isn't suitable for anyone with limited mobility.

Alessandra, the owner, was friendly, kind, and helpful. Residence Il Melograno was a lovely place to stay, and the apartment was quiet, clean, and tidy. I liked having a little garden at the back for laundry, plus a veranda where we could eat breakfast and dinner. Spiaggia La Cinta, one of the best beaches you'll see, is about a ten-minute walk away, and you can also walk into the center of San Teodoro. We loved our vacation and recommend Il Melograno for a stay in San Teodoro. We would have happily stayed longer to enjoy SUNANDBASS.

The only reason I gave four stars is that some of the furniture was worn and didn't work properly. Otherwise, this was great value, with good pricing, amenities, and hosting, and I'd return. The residence was very clean and in good working order, with a BBQ out back that was easy to use. It was peaceful and restful. The host was gracious, capable, and easy to deal with. The place is well positioned for the Olbia area, five minutes from the beach and ten minutes from downtown San Teodoro.

The apartments and gardens are beautiful, and the beach is a quick walk away. There's a little market nearby too. The people here are the kindest. I could stay forever.
