Michela is an amazing host who goes out of her way to make visitors feel welcome, comfortable, and appreciated. It’s a peaceful little gem in the beautiful countryside, and felt like a home away from home.

The farmhouse is lovely inside and out, carefully maintained and furnished with the tasteful feel of Umbrian farmhouses. Its garden slopes down the hillside to a charming pool. We had breakfast and dinner on the two wood and stone porches, enclosed by a clear structure that can be shut when it’s cold or rainy. Dining there as the rain fell was truly romantic. My partner and I stayed briefly while exploring Umbria’s many charming villages. We began with a generous aperitif, including superb pâté made by chef Michela and excellent cured meats. Dinner continued with two first courses, one with truffles and one with wild boar ragù, then beef fillet in a superb sauce. We had two different wines with it, and they really knocked us out 😁 Our spacious, beautiful room had lots of windows and gave us a stunning landscape view in the morning. Breakfast under the porch was just as warm a welcome, with Michela’s cakes and biscuits, wonderful fig and cinnamon jam, local cured meats, and anything else you could wish for. Michela also gave us excellent advice on places to explore nearby, and made us feel very welcome.

Evenings here were so quiet that all you could hear were crickets. Sitting on the terrace under the moon and stars made for magical moments, a chance to unplug and forget everyday stresses. The farmhouse sits among olive trees on a green hillside, with a beautiful landscape all around, and feels wonderfully peaceful. It’s furnished in a tasteful rustic style, and the cleanliness is impeccable. Michela is very kind and helpful. Her breakfasts are generous and made with fresh local products. The infinity pool looks out over the green hillside, with plenty of space and large, comfortable loungers. At night the lights make it feel like a dream. Perfect for a midsummer escape.

Peter and Michela welcomed us so kindly and were helpful with whatever we needed. The farmhouse is fully equipped and set in a peaceful oasis, with even an oven for making pizza to eat on the dreamy veranda. Fantastic location. I’ll definitely be back. 🤙🤙
