The room cleaning staff and the receptionist who fills in for the host were helpful too. The host was kind, attentive to service, and did a lot to help guests feel comfortable. It was a truly exhilarating experience.

The location is near the town center, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There are a couple of small parking areas close by. Since they serve the whole part of town where the hostel is, they’re often full, though they’re especially useful in the low season. The rooms are comfortable, and the place looks recently renovated. Breakfast is mostly packaged, with a few homemade items. For a hostel, it’s a little better than expected.

We got a private room and bathroom for the three of us, and the shower and toilet were good. There’s a shared dining room and a refrigerator, but no kitchen. In a small village near Genoa, this charming hostel is clean, well kept, and recently renovated. Breakfast was basic, and the attentive staff made it excellent value for money.
