Fattoria Di Vibio

The grounds were overgrown and poorly kept, nothing like the photos, and the room seemed as if it hadn't been cleaned in years. The bed had a squeaky mattress with broken springs, a single sheet, another sheet over it, and a musty, dirty bedspread. I used the wall heater instead, but it didn't work properly. Hot water was scarce and unpredictable, and the air conditioning failed on a particularly hot day. That first night I also found the room full of huge daddy longlegs hanging in established cobwebs that clearly hadn't been dusted for a long time. I was there for five days for a dear friend's wedding, and from the moment I arrived my heart sank for her. I couldn't bring myself to tell her, since she'd spent tens of thousands of euros renting Fattoria di Vibio. But when the villa owner showed up unexpectedly and uninvited, swaggering around like a local mafioso while she was waiting to make her first appearance as a bride, I didn't want him spoiling anyone else's wedding. Please read all the reviews before booking this filthy hellhole. No one should have to put up with this on the best day of their life. x

The mountain scenery is beautiful, and it's a great place to get away for a wedding, event, or family reunion. I highly recommend booking a gathering here.

The region is beautiful and worth exploring, and the people we met in town were lovely, apart from the awful owner of Fattoria Di Vibio. I'd suggest Todi Relais or a local Agaturismo instead, where you'll get much better service. We arrived to a hostile welcome and found a substandard villa with dirty rooms, weak Wi-Fi, and toilets that wouldn't flush properly. The owner bullied and intimidated us. On the morning of our wedding celebration, he came by and threatened to shut the place unless we paid extra fees that we'd agreed to settle at checkout. We paid after being bullied, but he turned up again on our wedding morning and walked around intimidating us while we were getting ready. He may claim he was there to help with the wedding or for health and safety, but he didn't greet or congratulate us, or speak to any of the vendors.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were pleasant with great service. It's quiet and secluded, with lovely views over the rolling hills and small valleys. A good base for exploring the Perugia region, or for a company getaway or wedding.
