BB Granello Di Sabbia

Antonella and her husband made us feel like friends, not just guests, and I’m grateful for that. My room was spacious and spotless, with working air conditioning and a good-sized bathroom with a window. It was cleaned every day. Breakfast was excellent, with Antonella’s pastries and fruit. They try to meet special requests, and they also make toast and pane cunzato. If you don’t want breakfast in the morning, you can take those with you in the bags they provide. Antonella also offers free bikes for the beach. The B&B is on Via Savoia, outside the pedestrian area but close to it. You can drive there, though parking is for residents only, and there’s a private lot about 500 meters away. The price is reasonable for the quality. A truly lovely B&B, and Antonella made it feel like home.

The beach at San Vito lo Capo is beautiful, with white sand and clear water, and it’s about 700 meters away. The rooms were clean and the building had new furnishings, with nothing to complain about. What made the holiday especially memorable was how Antonella and Matteo treated us. She’s so kind, and they made us feel at home, offered lots of tips for getting around, and were ready to help with whatever we needed. Breakfast was excellent, with homemade brioche for every taste. If you want a holiday where you don’t feel homesick, this is the place. I’ll keep you in my heart, Antonella and Matteo. Thank you.

From September 8 to September 16, I spent eight days at the Granello di sabbia, and I’m leaving today. Antonella welcomed me so warmly that even a stranger can feel at home on vacation. That’s exactly how I felt there. The homemade breakfasts were generous and had thoughtful touches for all the guests. I’d suggest a room on Via Savoia from the Granello to couples, families, or solo travelers. With a bike or a short walk, you can get to the Caribbean sea and see its stunning colors.
