Lovely owners and a beautiful little B&B.

Matteo makes a great cappuccino, and his wife’s desserts are delicious. They’re both welcoming and happy to share information. The B&B is in an excellent spot, close to the sea. I highly recommend it.

The B&B itself looked nice and is well located, but we never got the room we’d paid for, only saw it in photos. When we arrived on Friday, the owner said there was a plumbing problem and moved us to a nearby apartment, saying we could stay there until Wednesday at the latest and still come to the B&B for breakfast. The plumber wasn’t even called until Monday, then didn’t show up until Wednesday. We arrived on Thursday, but he couldn’t do the work, so we ended up in that apartment all week. The bathroom had no bidet or shower. If you dropped the sponge, you couldn’t pick it up, and the bedroom was upstairs via a spiral staircase, so every bathroom trip meant climbing up and down. We also found a cockroach in the kitchen one day. Garbage bins were emptied noisily under our window every night. We only got breakfast. To make matters worse, nobody cleaned the room or changed the sheets or towels during our eight days.

Matteo is a wonderful owner, always ready to help with whatever you need. The B&B is exceptionally clean and sits on a quiet street right in the center of San Vito lo Capo. I recommend it to everyone.
