Connor was a warm, very nice host, and the area is beautiful. The rest was disappointing for the price. Our room felt dark, the beds were very uncomfortable, and the towels and linens seemed very low quality. Breakfast was the worst we've had during a stay in Italy, with low quality ingredients.
We spent mid-September here and, although there were other guests, it still felt private and secluded. The remote, peaceful grounds are beautiful, and the infinity pool looks out over the whole coast and ocean. We ended up lounging by it all day. The food was good, though definitely pricey, which didn't surprise us given how remote it is. Our suite was clean and comfortable, with a nice terrace. It was a little dark, but that didn't bother us much since we hardly spent time in the room. Everyone was extremely welcoming and kind, and Conor gave us such a warm welcome. I still don't understand the three-star rating. I'd say at least four, and we had an amazing stay.
The hotel has a wonderful view, a gothic Italian feel, and very kind, accommodating staff. Wasps' nests by the pool were the one problem during our stay. Alicia was a great help getting our house issue sorted out. If they fix the nests, this place is paradise. Thank you, Alicia, you're a true ambassador for your brand.
We were celebrating our recent engagement, and the staff arranged a private boat day for my girlfriend and me. The captain pulled out all the stops, and it became one of the best days of our lives. The resort is about a 15 minute drive from San Vito. Getting into town is a little difficult, but we wanted somewhere secluded and the beautiful grounds made that fine for us. The pool and gardens were breathtaking in person, far better than the photos suggest. Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was great. We had lunch and dinner, enjoyed dinner enough to return on our last night. We stayed for two full days and it surpassed our already high expectations. We'd highly recommend it.
We chose this hotel for my husband's birthday, and it made the occasion feel special. The Sicilian landscape views and the atmosphere were amazing from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself has such elegance and charm, while the staff went out of their way to make our stay feel perfect. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate. Highly recommend it for a memorable stay in Sicily.
