Agriturismo Ca' Roer

A lovely place, with a fully equipped kitchen and a really relaxing outdoor area with chairs. The owner was friendly, and there were darts and football to play.

The kids had a great time, and the washer and dryer were a real help for six of us staying eight days. We were looking for somewhere central but not right in the middle of everything, and this place worked out really well. It was quiet, with a huge lawn, and had all the comforts of a farmhouse. The rooms felt warm and welcoming, the kitchen worked well, and both bathrooms were fully equipped. Everything was clean, and we appreciated the kindness and privacy. Thanks for everything. See you again in the summer.

One suggestion: proper double beds would be better than two singles pushed together. We were disappointed that the heating in our room wasn't working, and there was no refund for the inconvenience. It was December, so the cold made it particularly uncomfortable.

The cleaning really let the place down. The kitchen and cutlery were especially lacking, the cushions and bedspreads had some very suspicious stains, and there was dust everywhere. After the people in the apartment next door left, their rubbish stayed in the garden for a week. We finally took it out ourselves because the smell was awful in the middle of summer. There’s plenty of room, and it’s very quiet, though I imagine that might change if all three apartments are occupied. You’re surrounded by nature but still just a few minutes by car from local shops and several supermarkets. The apartment is nicely laid out and decorated, but the equipment is only adequate. It’s still a nice place if you’re not too fussy.
