Don’t miss dinner here, the food is delicious and made with fresh, local ingredients. The place itself is beautiful and peaceful, and the people working there are very kind and helpful. They really know how to look after their guests.

The antipasti were fantastic, and the first courses were very good too. The involtini were especially great. The place looks like a movie set, and the service was good.

Flo, a lovely French woman, and Elio, a sweet dog, welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home straight away. The countryside setting is peaceful, yet Gallipoli is only minutes away, and the location is handy for exploring the northern coast, including Punta Prosciutto, Torre Lapillo, and Porto Cesareo. Breakfast was generous, with lots to choose from, and the freshly baked pasticciotti leccesi are a must. We also tried their simple, authentic cooking made with quality local ingredients. Our room, no. 6, was a little too minimal, though fine for two people on a short stay. A curtain at the front door would be a useful addition. Recommended for the location and its genuine, family-friendly atmosphere.

The rooms are roomy, with bathrooms, and open onto a garden where Fanny and Giuliano serve breakfasts and dinners. There’s plenty of outdoor space for children to play, and parking is ample. Even without air conditioning, the rooms stay cool thanks to the thick walls, greenery, and pleasant breeze. It’s about a five-minute drive from Gallipoli and a handy base for seeing Salento. The estate has a gentle, old-world feel, and Fanny and Giuliano spoiled us with delicious breakfasts made from their own products. A quiet, remote setting like this brings real peace to the soul. It’s the kind of holiday you choose.
