Tenuta Mosè

We were surprised by how varied the south of Puglia is. Driving along the coast, we came across fishing villages like Castro, beaches that felt like the Maldives at Lido Marini, and charming historic places such as Lecce and Specchia. Staying here was a good base for exploring without driving too far, with Lecce around 30 minutes away and Gallipoli and the clear-water beaches at G beach and Lido Pizzi about 15 minutes away. We spent nine nights here with my wife, who was three months pregnant, and the service was outstanding. The food, made with vegetables from the garden, our room, and the people all made the stay wonderful. Adriano and his daughter were so thoughtful: they helped us find a rental car much cheaper than at the airport, suggested nearby places to visit without us even asking, and were always helpful with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Paula deserves a special mention. She looked after our breakfast every morning and was such a lovely way to start the day. We already miss her kindness and generosity, and really appreciate everything everyone did for us. We hope to visit again soon.

The details made our five days here so memorable: fresh fruit and vegetables from the property, wine from the vineyard, linens dried on the line, and such wonderful sleep. We were away from the city but still close to the beaches, with a staff that was always ready to help. Adriano and his daughter Adriana have put so much passion into creating an experience you don’t forget. My son Sam and I felt like we were among family, and I’m so grateful. It’s a lovely place to rest, but also to slow down and enjoy nature, music, fine dining, and the simple pleasures of the Italian lifestyle. We’ll remember it for the rest of our lives.

We came to Tenuta Mose for our honeymoon in September 2023, and from the moment Adriano welcomed us like family, we felt at home. The place is incredible, so beautiful and personal, and the staff were wonderful. My new husband and I had the time of our lives and will always be grateful. Thank you, Adriano.
