The bed was really comfortable, and there’s a water fountain, biscuits, and free coffee and tea from a good espresso machine. It’s right in central San Remo, three floors up, but barely noisy. Great deal!

Everything was clean and well organized, and getting in touch with the owner was easy. The location is excellent. I only stayed one night, which was a shame. If I get back to Sanremo, I’d definitely stay here again.

Our room had a comfortable bed, a small bathroom, and air conditioning. The entrance and hall felt recently renovated, with six rooms, a coffee machine that seemed to be free for guests, and a fridge for storing snacks or breakfast. From the pedestrian street, a small door leads to a stairwell, then it’s four floors up to a welcoming “Bienvenue!” sign. The hotel doesn’t have a regular reception. Communication is by WhatsApp or SMS, I think, and the hostess replied incredibly quickly. We were lucky enough to meet her in the hallway, and she was lovely. She seemed to know the area well and recommended La porta verde, a wonderful restaurant. From the outside, the hotel doesn’t look like much, but it’s nicely placed in the town center.

The room was okay, but not worth the price. I was left outside for hours, and the host stopped replying in the middle of our conversation. Apparently you need a phone number to open the door, and as a tourist I didn’t have a local one. Worst host communication I’ve ever had. Avoid.
