We went in late September, my wife and I, and came away extremely disappointed. Even the rooms and service were beyond criticism, in the worst sense. Dinner was a set menu, just whatever they brought, and it was a complete tragedy. Breakfast was so poor that homeless shelters must serve better. We were given a table with food waste and plates on it, as shown in the photo I attached. My advice is simple: if you have the chance, don't visit this hotel.

The parking advice from the hotel caused us a serious problem. We were told to leave the car on the street overnight and that it would be free until 9 AM. When I went out at 8:30 AM, police officers were around the car; they were rude, gave me a fine, and threatened to make me pay it there and then. I feel the hotel should take responsibility for giving us the wrong information. The receptionist also struggled to communicate in English, and the broken air conditioning made the 30-degree heat unbearable.

The food was fresh, though it got monotonous. Housekeeping cleaned the rooms each day, and the receptionists were very polite. When I asked for extra towels and soap, they brought them right away. The hotel's location is excellent.

We got a parking ticket after the hotel car park was full and we were told to park outside. The room was dirty and disgusting, and the air conditioning didn't work. Nobody had warned us about that beforehand. It was an awful stay at Hotel Globo, not worth the money and definitely not somewhere I'd recommend.

The rooms were clean, the service was great, and the location is excellent. Food was the letdown. It felt far from Italian food, and there was little variety. Dinner meant soup, with compote for dessert, and there was no fruit or salad. The next morning they served desserts left over from the night before. We were also given plain spaghetti, no sauce, just parmigano.
