La Casa Della Vikinga

The balcony at Casa Vikinga was lovely, but there were quite a few problems. The floor was dirty when we arrived, and the apartment didn’t feel properly cleaned, especially behind the furniture. The host didn’t even say hello, and wasn’t pleasant. The sofa bed sheets weren’t suitable either, and the bottom one didn’t fit. Parking was a real headache. The listing gave a misleading impression, since there are no private spaces, and parking around the neighborhood seemed impossible. Even the private lot about 10 minutes away was always full. There’s also a narrow staircase that the listing doesn’t mention, which I think would be hard to manage with a stroller or other things. Upstairs there are no shutters, and the church bells nearby ring for 5-10 minutes at 7:00 AM each morning. That’s not a major issue, but people should know. The sea is fairly close, as the listing says, but the nearby spot is a seawall where you can’t swim. It takes about 10-15 minutes by car to get to a beach.
