The breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty to choose from each morning. Everyone on staff was warm and attentive, and I enjoyed chatting with them. I felt looked after and at home during my four nights at Hotel Morandi. I was in Sanremo in late October for the Sanremo Senior 2025 event as a contestant. After busy days, it was lovely to return to such a comfortable hotel. The city made the trip special, and the hotel’s hospitality was a big part of why it stays memorable for me. I’d happily come back. Big thanks from Canada!

The self-service coffee machine coffee wasn’t worth trying, in my opinion. Breakfast otherwise was the usual Italian spread, with several kinds of cake. It’s an old-style Italian hotel, and the rooms look quite used, though they were okay.

The staff are really nice, and the hotel itself is pleasant with a sea view. But the sound carries badly in the room. I could hear every footstep from the rooms above, and even at night the floor creaked loudly. I also missed having hot water in the room for tea or coffee, something I consider basic in hotels I’ve stayed in. When I asked for hot water with tea, it cost me 3 euros.
