Gargiulo Resort

Augusto and Gaia made us feel as if we were staying with friends. They were so welcoming, and Augusto shared some of the family history, which made the place feel even more special. Our kids had a blast, my wife fell in love with it, and I’m still thinking about the meals. We spent three days at Gargiulo Resort, one of the best parts of our Amalfi trip. The views are breathtaking, and the rooms are modern and stylish, with care put into every detail, from the design to the cutlery. The food was excellent and very fresh, with some ingredients coming straight from their garden. Make sure to eat at the restaurant. Great value for money, peaceful, personal, and a five-star experience. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amalfi.

The service and cuisine were exceptional, and we enjoyed every minute of our three-day stay. The house, from the furniture and design to all the little details, felt thoroughly thought through and state-of-the-art. The view was top-notch too. It’s more than an alternative to the other five-star hotels in Sorrento. We’ll be back.

The hotel felt like a private getaway, away from the crowded city, and the view over sorrento and the ocean was perfect throughout our honeymoon. There don’t seem to be many rooms on site, which made the stay feel private, with a real feel of Italy. Our room was flawless and suited us perfectly. There’s an outdoor area for sunbathing and jacuzzis, a high-end restaurant, and A+ breakfast included. The staff paid close attention to detail, were accommodating, and checked in often while still giving us privacy when we needed it. They helped with travel arrangements and were friendly throughout. When I asked for a bouquet as a surprise, they put it on the table with a kind note congratulating us. This seems like a newer hotel, otherwise I’d guess it would cost much more. Either way, it’s one of the nicest and most accommodating places I’ve stayed. Can’t recommend it enough!

The rooms feel genuinely luxurious, right down to the shutters and pillows, and the breakfast each morning is one you shouldn't miss. The staff made our Sorrento trip especially memorable. They shared great ideas for day trips, arranged taxis, and helped us find a rental car, almost like our own guides. Every detail felt five star. We had an incredible time and will be back.
