The balcony has a wonderful view of Mount Vesuvius, Sant'Agnello, and the area around it. You can even see Naples in the distance. The guesthouse sits near a hill, and the surroundings are very quiet. Every so often you hear church bells ringing far away. Sorrento is about a 20-minute walk, and Sant'Agnello center is around 10 minutes on foot. Mr Gennaro, the owner, was incredibly kind and always willing to help. He even drove us to Sorrento when we went to Capri, and again when we left by train for Naples.

Gennaro was such a gem, attentive and friendly, and clearly keen to make our stay enjoyable. He even gave us a lift to the port/station and told us about his passion for making limoncello and wine. Breakfast and towels were provided, and we were close to most things. The showers were great, and each morning he got us croissants in the flavor we chose, along with fresh coffee and other breakfast items. There was even a very sweet cat. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay again. Thank you, Gennaro :)

The hilltop location is the one drawback, and it could be exhausting for an older person you're traveling with. Still, breakfast was included and good, and Gennaro was really nice, even giving us a lift once. Our room was spacious and clean, with a beautiful view.
