We came to Sorrento for a wedding, our first visit, and were greeted so warmly by the receptionist and cleaning ladies. They smiled and said hello each day, and the night watchman was lovely too. The €15 breakfast box was the best part: yoghurt, granola, juice, cappuccino, croissant, marble cake, biscuits and two savoury rolls, enough for two people. Our first-floor room, just up the stairs from the ground floor, was clean and spacious, with a blue and white look, two bathrooms and three beds. There’s a pleasant outdoor spot to relax, and shops and a food bar are within walking distance, just across the road. Pizza is only about 30 metres away. The beach is close too, with €1 escalators through the restaurant, which was amazing.

The location was the best thing about this hotel. It’s in a good neighbourhood and close to the water, though getting to downtown Sorrento takes about a 25-minute walk. We couldn’t use the sink because it was clogged, and despite asking several times for help, nobody came to fix it. The jacuzzi was freezing, and staff didn’t resolve that after we raised it more than once. The shower leaked every time and flooded the bathroom badly enough to soak four large towels. The beds were hard as rocks and really uncomfortable.

We used Hotel Crawford as our base for exploring the Amalfi Coast, and it was so convenient. Being just steps from the beach was a big plus, and we made the most of it. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel had a stylish, luxurious feel. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, and we felt right at home. We loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed in room 308, which was clean and comfortable, with a balcony looking toward the Mediterranean. The morning hostess was wonderful and very helpful. It’s a quiet, comfortable hotel away from the main tourist area, and we’d definitely consider staying here again when we return to Sorrento.

We had a great, spacious room, and the location worked really well. There’s a restaurant with a lovely view just a few metres away, plus a great place for authentic Neapolitan pizza right next door. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and her map showing nearby places made getting oriented easy.
