Cirasellaetna

We had a lovely stay here. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, the hosts are lovely, and the surrounding area is beautiful. There's a common room to relax in, plus a patio for long chats or board games, and you can also just sit in the garden with their cats. I've stayed at quite a few agriturismi, and this is one of the best two. It's a great place to spend a few days on a Sicily holiday. The food is mouth-watering, so try to have at least one dinner here.

The table was hard to stay away from. The food and wine are all local, and the kitchen was the standout for us. Laura and Giuseppe were also happy to drive us to or from the airport or give us a lift wherever we wanted to go. With no cell phone signal, the Wi-Fi in the restaurant area came in handy. We stayed four nights while exploring Etna. Their calm, welcoming nature and positive energy made a big impression. Cirasellaetna sits among gardens, fruit trees and vegetables, with a beautiful view of the mountain. Dogs and cats wander freely around the house, and everything was clean and tidy. Grazie!

It's hard to find a relaxed holiday like this with so much modern life around. Here you can unwind in nature and admire Etna. The setting is one of a kind, and the owners are friendly and make you feel at home. The food is very good, cooked by the owner in a family style that follows Sicilian traditions. Laura is a really good cook and can make very nice vegetarian meals if needed. We stayed with our 11 month old baby and had a nice time. The welcome from Laura and Giuseppe was warm, and they were always glad to help with anything. It's an authentic, peaceful place to get away from everything, though there's no mobile service. There's plenty to do nearby, including seeing the thousand year old trees, visiting Etna, walking in the area, or going to Taormina or the much quieter Castelmola.
