Hotel Don Salasar

There isn't much here beyond a small guest pool. The hotel sits just off the main road, reached by a narrow access road, and has a dirt parking lot. There's no bar or service, and breakfast is basic at best. We were told the elevator was broken, and it seemed unlikely anyone planned to repair it, so getting to the third floor meant using the stairs. The rooms are basic, with noisy air conditioning that's hard to adjust because you can't lower the fan speed. The bathroom was tiny, as was the shower, and water leaked from the toilet cistern down the wall. The bidet drain was blocked and the sink drain didn't work properly. None of the problems we reported got fixed. There were two small fridges in our room; one didn't work and just took up space.

The rooms are spacious, nicely furnished, and extremely clean, and there's a beautiful, roomy pool that's clean too. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's listed as three stars, but I'd give it four. A great hotel in Sant'Anna Arresi, South Sardinia, and well worth a return visit.

The rooms are spacious and spotless, and breakfast has plenty of choice. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It's a welcoming hotel close to the center of Sant'Anna Arresi and the beautiful beaches of Porto Pino. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely, welcoming room with a large little terrace where we could relax in the evening. The hotel is well run, and the staff were genuinely friendly. It's only a few kilometers from the Dune beach, which we could actually see from where we were staying.
