Very Good Featured review

The view and central location, near a square and the waterfront, were the only real positives for me. The building is badly run down, with large black marks all over the staircase and bathroom fixtures that are very rusty. I gave it two stars because the setting could suit someone who is deaf and not too concerned about cleanliness. Sleep was impossible. There was live music from a bar outside and parties every night of my stay, running much later than midnight. The owner says in replies to other reviews that parties happen only on Saturdays and end at midnight, but that wasn't true for my stay. Sound carries everywhere because the building has no soundproofing. In the morning, staff yelled in the breakfast room next to my room from 7:30, and I could hear everything. They also knocked on my door every morning and tried to open it. A horrible stay. I'd strongly avoid this place.

The hotel's top floor feels as if you're inside the club downstairs, where a DJ plays until 3 a.m. Try imagining sleeping through that.

We'd been looking forward to staying here and exploring Taranto, but when we arrived, the place was closed. Our booking was confirmed, and we'd received a message confirming the stay and asking when we'd like to check in. Once there, nobody answered. We emailed, called several numbers, and sent messages through the booking app, with no response. It was incredibly inconvenient and badly managed. Save yourself the time and money, and don't make the trip to Taranto to stay here.

The location and price were good. Check-in was poor, and breakfast was only okay.

Very clean, and you get a lot for such a low price!
