B&B Campan

The wooden sauna outside was a real highlight, and Paolo, the owner, was always smiling and kind. There are good hiking trails nearby, and the large patio has lovely views. The rooms are spacious and clean, too. It’s a beautiful spot, and a chance to discover a quieter, more authentic part of Lessinia Regional Park.

Paolo and his family, who live nearby, gave us a warm welcome and were ready with helpful advice. Paolo also brought us breakfast each morning. We enjoyed the grassy seating area, and after dark, fireflies flickered in the meadows beyond. There are plenty of lovely walks in the National Park that you can reach without driving. Lake Garda and the historic cities of Venice, Verona, Mantua, Padua, and Vicenza are also easy day trips. The B&B is in a peaceful spot with beautiful mountain views, yet close to Fosse, where you’ll find a supermarket, shops, bars, and restaurants. Our room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully furnished. We’ll definitely come back.

I’d gladly have stayed a few more nights. For my trip, this was a perfect first stop, with a beautiful view over the valley and plenty of space outside, surrounded by nature. In the morning, all we heard was birdsong, with the occasional cow. The room was clean, roomy, and practical, with a lovely look and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was generous, including organic apple juice and fresh bread. The owner was kind and helpful throughout. If you’re after a break from the usual hotels and want a stay close to nature, I’m sure you’ll enjoy this B&B.
