I found out that 4,000 euros had been taken from my credit card without my knowledge. This hotel is a scam.

We booked an economy double room, then after paying a non-refundable rate were told that meant just one bed for two. This is a cheap hotel, and you get what you pay for. The staff don't seem to care, and you may find yourself locked inside overnight with no key to get out. Breakfast was okay if you don't mind dry eggs and gummy bacon. There's a locked garage, but they use it for boxes, so cars have to stay outside.

The rooms are okay for the low price, but the way they handled our arrival was unacceptable. We got our room at 5 pm, three hours after the stated 2 pm check-in. We'd arrived at 12 pm and were fine with waiting, but rooms were being prepared for guests who hadn't arrived yet while we waited tired after a long journey. They wouldn't prioritize ours either. The whole process felt chaotic and badly organized. I can't believe they hadn't prepared all the rooms for the weekend by the official check-in time, especially when they knew about it months ahead. Never again, and I wouldn't recommend this place to larger groups. Also, the French bed is 1,20m wide, not 1,40m as people generally expect, so keep that in mind if booking for two.

The only annoying thing was that I kept switching on the light with my head during the night, since the switch was right above the end of the pillow. Still, for the price I'd definitely recommend it, especially if you're driving along E35. The hotel isn't new, but it's in great shape and really clean. Breakfast was amazing too.
