I didn't expect to leave having made a friend, but my wife and I clicked with the owner right away. We talked about the Mocheni Valley and her story, then enjoyed her excellent cooking with products she makes herself, from polenta and cheese to bread and jams. She's a lovely person who never stops working at her business. The rooms are welcoming and recently built, and the quiet setting makes it easy to unwind. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys authentic food.

We chose half-board and got to enjoy Gemma's own produce at every meal: currant juice, apple and blueberry jam, bread and butter, garden vegetables, whole-wheat polenta made from her corn, and cheese from her cows. That cheese was one of the tastiest mountain cheeses I've tried, so I'd recommend buying some to take home. The farm animals, including donkeys, sheep, and curious cats, were lovely company too. The property has a beautiful view over the Mocheni Valley, with trails and main attractions only a few minutes away. It sits in a still-wild part of Trentino that doesn't get many tourists, even in peak season. Gemma was very helpful, and I'd highly recommend staying here.

My dog and I have been here twice with my partner. It's a place that may not suit everyone, but the delicious food and a conversation with Signora Gemma are hard to beat. You have to experience it to understand.

The rooms were very pleasant, and breakfast felt authentic, with everything made from the farm's own ingredients. But the booking mix-up was a real problem. The owner canceled our reservation through the platform at the last minute without telling us, so we arrived at 7:00 PM the day before Ferragosto with nowhere to sleep. The following evening, another small mix-up that the owner could have prevented or handled left us in the same situation again. With a one-year-old, this was very, very unpleasant. I'd avoid using an intermediary to book this property and wouldn't pay in advance. Also, although breakfast is authentic, it includes unpasteurized products, which are unsafe for small children.
