The cold, damp rooms made this a very uncomfortable stay. It was -12°C outside, the heating wasn’t working properly, water dripped from the walls and windows, and there was a strong mold smell. Even the bed linen smelled bad and felt damp. Several furnishings and amenities were old or broken, and the place didn’t seem cared for. We were also asked for a deposit, and at checkout the host counted the plates aloud, which made things awkward. Communicating with her was difficult because her English was limited, and that led to repeated misunderstandings. We were a group of more than 10 guests, and felt very uncomfortable when the host blamed problems on the business itself instead of addressing them. In my view, the mold and possible health risks should be reported to the Bormio Health Department. Hospitality means dealing with issues rather than shifting blame. I usually avoid writing negative reviews, despite having stayed at many properties around the world, but I feel other guests should know. I strongly advise against staying here. I hope you enjoy the Livigno Bormio area, but choose somewhere else. Saluto! Enjoy the ride elsewhere.
