There’s plenty of private parking, lots of greenery, and the residence is about 400 meters from the sea, overlooking the water. Apartments that face the parking lot all have sea views. The complex looks cared for and is still nice to look at, even though it’s getting older. Some apartments could do with more attention to the furnishings and standard amenities. If you’re happy with a peaceful setting and views from the terraces by day or on summer evenings, and don’t expect four-star hotel amenities, you can have a lovely holiday.

The phone signal is the main problem here. WindTre gets the best reception, though even that isn’t great, so without planning ahead you could be left without calls or internet. People have complained to TIM, Vodafone and others for years, but nobody has come to fix it. It’s a complex of around 70 apartments belonging to different owners. They’re spacious and welcoming, often with sea views, and generally well looked after. They have the basics, like pots, glasses, cups, a moka pot and cutlery. The residence itself is reasonably well maintained, and the price for two weeks of spa treatment in October is excellent.

Our apartment was cozy and clean, if a little dated, and worked well for a pleasant summer stay. Each place in this residence is independent, with its own gate, terrace and parking space. The location is central enough for exploring Cilento, but Santa Cesarea Terme’s center and the beaches are a bit far to reach on foot.

The apartments are nice, but there are always heaps of rubbish in front of the gate. The owners haven’t managed to organize waste disposal with the tenants, and this is what it’s led to. 😢
