Masseria La Gresca

The kids loved the place and the swimming pool, and there’s a beautiful garden full of fruit. It’s a wonderful location, with really nice staff and good food.

The staff were so friendly, and the rooms and garden have a stylish feel.

Riccardo, the young man from Lecce who manages the place, was professional, friendly and thoughtful. He gave us enthusiastic advice about places worth visiting, and I hope to come back. The Masseria has been renovated with care, and there’s a clear eye for detail throughout its elegant, peaceful setting. The suites and rooms have private outdoor areas that make it easy to relax. We couldn’t use the pool because the water was still too cold, though it’s beautiful and open. The place is so comfortable that you could end up staying in and missing the wonderful Salento landscape around it. Breakfast is served in a beautifully kept area overlooking the spacious garden and pool.

Ricardo and the team pointed us toward some worthwhile sights and restaurants nearby. The estate itself is lovely, with thoughtfully designed rooms and a tidy garden. The long pool is great for lounging in the sun, and the layout feels intimate without everyone being packed together, so there’s plenty of privacy. The staff were helpful and worked well together. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay and highly recommend this masseria.
