The apartment had a roomy bedroom, a kitchen, and a balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and there’s a nice pool, though you need a swim cap, so bring one or get it at reception. There isn’t a beach nearby; the closest is about a 20-minute walk. We found the staff kind, even if English was a struggle, as it is in much of Italy. The hotel worked well for our two-night trip around the region, with free parking out front in a quiet residential area. As for Santa Cesarea Terme itself, it’s pretty boring, so I wouldn’t plan a long holiday here. It’s useful as a base for exploring the Italian heel.

The staff were so kind, and breakfast was delicious. They cleaned the room every day, and the view was wow. A really nice hotel, I recommend it.

We were just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, though it’s rocky rather than sandy, as the photos show. It’s also a handy place to stay if you’re driving to spots like Castro. Our room was spotless, the service was excellent, and the price felt like very good value.

The pool was such a relaxing spot, and breakfast was huge and really good. Everyone on the staff was lovely and helpful. We had a perfect stay, and if we return to Santa Cesaria, we’ll definitely stay here again.

There are lots of different beaches nearby, and the people working at the hotel are very nice. Their breakfast is a great start to the day.
