Alpstay – Smart Hotel Saslong

The lounge was a great extra, somewhere to meet friends, play games, and have debates. I also found the hotel calming, but it gave me plenty of inspiration too. The staff were really nice, breakfast had lots of options, and the food was good. The beds were comfortable and the toilets were clean.

What stood out most was how welcoming and attentive the staff were. They were always ready with a smile or a friendly word, which made the stay feel personal. The hotel was bright, modern, and extremely clean, with a fresh, almost brand-new feel throughout. The rooms are compact but practical and comfortable, a good fit for a small family as well as a ski trip with friends. They felt cozy and suited to an alpine getaway. It worked really well for our stay.

The location was very good, and the staff were friendly and really helpful. Breakfast had a tasty spread with lots of different choices. Such a nice hotel, I only wish we'd stayed more than one night.

Parking across from the hotel was handy, and the rooms and shower facilities were nice. Breakfast and the facilities were very good too, but the service made the trip much less enjoyable. Staff weren't very welcoming or helpful, and looked at foreign guests strangely. I felt sorry for the people from South Korea. Most staff didn't speak English, which I understand, but they were abrupt when we tried to communicate using Google Translate audio. One of my colleagues was also spoken to rudely and told she couldn't fill her hot water container with hot water, which seemed very strange since it was only water. There aren't many places to eat nearby. There is, though, a fantastic Turkish takeaway just across the road.
