The apartment was one of the most comfortable places I’ve stayed in, with lots of wood in the decor and everything we needed. We also had a fantastic view from the window and a nice terrace, though we couldn’t make much use of it in winter. Our host was welcoming and gave us plenty of useful tips when we arrived. On day 4, the apartment was cleaned and the towels were replaced. Despar is very close by, and the ski bus is about a five-minute walk. One route has stairs and a steeper climb but buses run very often; the flatter route has buses every 20-30 minutes. The chair lift is also walkable, maybe seven minutes away, and makes a good alternative to the main lift. The steeper path could be hard for younger children, though it was fine for our six-year-old son. We enjoyed staying here and definitely plan to come back.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the place was spotless and very well equipped. Nothing to complain about. Highly recommended, five stars all around.

Sassolungo looked wonderful from the accommodation, and it was quieter than Ortisei. They even gave us free bus tickets, and everything we needed was provided. If you're Korean, bring chopsticks and a few sauces, haha. Finding chopsticks nearby is difficult. I’d happily recommend this place two or three times over!

We were here for a lovely week. Getting to the ski bus takes a bit of effort, but it isn’t far. The bakery and the charming town are only a two-minute walk away, and buses make it easy to reach other villages around the Val Gardena valley. The landlady was kind, welcoming, and always available when we had questions. She really made an effort for us. Our room was beautifully furnished, with a box-spring bed, electric blinds, a small kitchen with everything we needed, a terrace overlooking the mountains, and a fantastic bathroom. Five stars!

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. I would have liked a few more local pastries, though. The room was clean but small, with carpet and no bidet. The location is excellent, near the village's main street and with views of the Sassolungo.
