It felt like leaving home when we had to go. The grandparents, grandmother, and their daughter run this cozy family guesthouse, and it was unforgettable. At breakfast each morning, I chatted with the hostess about where I’d walked the day before. After each hike, sitting on the balcony and taking in the view was wonderful. There’s a little path behind the house, too, leading past an alpaca farm with lots of cute and interesting animals.

The bus stop is just a two-minute walk away, which we were really happy about. Every morning the owners served us a sensational breakfast, and once we’d eaten our fill, we’d head out. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful week here. The owners were genuinely kind and helpful, and we can’t wait to come back!

Cornelia and her whole family are delightful, and breakfast was delicious, with homemade pastries too. The place was pleasant, clean, and warm. You can catch the bus to the ski resort almost right outside the door.
