Villa Giardina

Paolo and Giovanna were so kind and helpful. We spent five days here as a family, and the quiet atmosphere makes the place a good fit for couples and families alike. The pool was a nice alternative on days when the sea was rough. Our rooms were spacious, furnished well, and had TVs and air conditioning; the rooms and shared spaces were clean. Guests can also use the shared kitchen and refrigerator. I was told they’ll soon renovate the garden and widen the entrance from the main road.

The property itself is lovely and welcoming, but the owner’s response to a serious inconvenience is why I rated it so poorly. There were nine of us staying for seven days, and after the water ran out one evening, we had no supply until noon the next day. The owner wouldn’t offer even a small reduction in the price. For me, it was the lack of a symbolic apology that mattered, especially since payment had been demanded before our holiday was over. There were also a lot of flies and ants around the outdoor areas, which made eating outside really uncomfortable.

The Giardino family were lovely, and aside from breakfast being all sweet with no savory choices, everything was great. The place was very pleasant, clean, and had a great pool.

The fantastic pool and the lush greenery make this a lovely place to recharge, with the Mediterranean less than 3 kilometers away. It’s a peaceful, sunny spot in Eastern Sicily, clean and air-conditioned, with all the comforts. There’s room for 15 people in 6 separate bedrooms arranged in 3 subgroups, so it suits a big family or a group of friends. A tennis court sits at the far end. Prices are affordable, so go for it if you’re interested.
