Baia Del Sole

Being so close to the town center and the sea was the one real plus. The hotel itself was very basic, and that might have been fine if it had been cleaner. There was rubbish and cigarette ends on the driveway, and flies and dead millipedes on the stairs. Inside, the room felt cramped and the floor was dusty. Even the headboard was just a white-painted plywood panel. The bathroom's flimsy folding door gave no privacy.

We stayed five nights and felt right at home thanks to the very friendly, helpful owners. The place is simple, as you'd expect from a two-star hotel, but has a warm, homelike feel. Our room was basic but clean, and the little terrace had a partial sea view. Both the Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked perfectly.

There could be a lot to like about this place, but as it is now, I'd stay away.

Very simple hotel, and really good. The staff were so attentive.
