Domina Zagarella Sicily

The food was our main frustration. There were generally good options, but variety and availability could be better. We often ran into queues, and some items, especially desserts, were slow to come back or unavailable during service. The resort has a beautiful setting and good facilities, so it was an enjoyable stay. The service, though, didn't quite reach the level I've experienced at similarly rated resorts in Spain.

The food was great, and it included a bottle of wine. I liked the pasta best, though the french fries were the best. The staff were friendly and prices reasonable, with some meals included, so it's an all-in-one spot to enjoy Sicily outside Palermo. We rented a car, but the rail station is a 25-minute walk. Parking is available, although driving in Sicily is "interesting" to say the least. It's a very relaxing resort right on the water, with spectacular views of the ocean and nearby village. There are different rooms to choose from, including private bungalows. Highly recommended!

Hoss from the bar staff inside the cava bar gave us a holiday I'll never forget. That man changes your guest experience without you even realizing it ❤️ The staff were amazing and friendly, and we hired a villa for the week. It gave me the best local-feeling experience I've had travelling around Italy. One of the best hotels I've stayed at, and I'll come back for another week. I'd live here if I could. If you're coming to Sicily and not for the Godfather experience, get yourself down here 😎❤️🇮🇹

The breakfast included with our stay was good, and service at the hotel's food places was good too. The location was excellent, near a great restaurant and the main road. Parking was inconvenient and expensive. We were sent off site and had to walk along a busy road to get up the street to our car when we wanted to go out. Still, the parking area was secured by a gate and passcode.
