Podere La Lespa 10 in Santa Luce

The pool is truly beautiful, and the setting feels heavenly, surrounded by greenery and just steps from the lake. The sea is close too, and it’s well placed for trips to museums and cities like Pisa, Florence, and Siena. We stayed here with the whole family and feel lucky we found it. We’ll definitely be back!

There’s a huge outdoor area, far more than you’d call a garden, with a little olive grove, swing, barbecue, and a lemon house with a pizza oven and another oversized fireplace. Perfect for a giant barbecue. The farmhouse itself has been tastefully renovated in keeping with the area and its history, and has plenty of comforts, including a pool, air conditioning, a billiards room, and a fireplace. It’s a charming spot in the Tuscan countryside, about a half-hour drive from Livorno and Pisa and not far from the beaches on Livorno’s southern coast.

It’s a beautiful, well-kept place, so I’m still giving it 5 stars. The one thing to fix is the pool water: last year it wasn’t this cloudy, and this year there seems to be too much chlorine.
